Sex Trafficked Victims/Survivors

Since 2021 Bravestone Project has helped 39 survivors of human trafficking in some form.

Bravestone Project has received 4 email correspondents from potential victims/survivors in 2024. 4 in person referrals. Assisted 1 survivor for 5 days while attempting to work with 7 different agencies for needs of the survivor.

Missing Persons - Run-Away

Of the 29 missing persons we assisted with 6 Adults and 23 Minors of those missing persons 62% were suspected trafficked, of those suspected 15 where confirmed to be trafficked, 33% were in mental health crisis.

Since 2021 Bravestone Project has worked in collaborations with over 12 organizations, 7 of which were local organizations.

Studies suggest that a large percentage of sex trafficked victims have some sort or sexual abuse in their history. Childhood abuses and traumas play a big roll in vulnerabilities.

Victims of sexual traumas have a high rate of suicide attempts and/or ideations.
