Wine For A Cause

BP-HT Awareness Conference 2025
This year’s theme is Together We Rise: Building Connections and Strengthening Resilience. Discover expert strategies for collaborating to support HT survivors and wellness for providers. Our Keynote Speaker, Caitlyn Scaggs, M.S., is an entrepreneur, author, and keynote speaker based in Virginia. As a former police officer, Caitlyn has enjoyed a dynamic career that includes delivering a TEDx talk, publishing a women’s empowerment book, and serving as head of justice enterprise for an anti-trafficking non-profit. Currently, she equips other organizations for increased impact through her business, Connect 936.
We will have two short wellness sessions, another training session with Mona Highline, Executive Director of The Joseph Center, and a viewing of “BOYS” a documentary about minor male sex trafficking victims. We will close out our day with a panel including Caitlyn, Mona, and other local experts.
The cost of this year’s conference is $25, which includes light breakfast fare, snacks, coffee, lunch, and a swag bag.

Boys Documentary
Sex trafficking affects thousands of men, women, and children around the world. This 50-minute film BOYS, was filmed in hopes to educate people on what it looks like for males to be caught up in today’s modern-day slavery.

Brio’s Place means Life’s Place - This month’s Brio’s Place is taking place at Palisades River Bend Park. “The Life & Breath of Leisure Take a break, Take a walk with Brio’s Place. Park at the east end parking lot. We’ll meet at the east pond (east of the playground) on the fishing deck, with a brief introduction & sharing of snacks.

Bravestone Project would like to invite you to a Brio’s Place event Animals and Emotional Healing at Rocky Mountain Golden Fleece LLC. They will be sharing the affects animals can have with emotional healing.
Sunday May 19th from 2pm-4pm. Water and light snack will be provided. Join us for this family friendly event.
Pet and feed the sheep while relaxing in the sun among the sheep.

FREEDOM BRACELETS
This Event Has Been Canceled
Join us at The Joseph Center and help us make FREEDOM BRACELETS for Operation For Freedom. Open to ages 14 and up. (Those 16 and under need to be accompanied by a parent.)
Operation For Freedom is a nonprofit organization who helps victims of human trafficking become survivors. These bracelets are amazing gifts for each victim that receives them. You get to be a part of that by helping us make bracelets.
We supply the equipment just bring a drink and light snack to share and come willing to spend some time making some cute bracelets for victims of human trafficking.
