BP-HT Awareness Conference 2025

This year’s theme is Together We Rise: Building Connections and Strengthening Resilience. Discover expert strategies for collaborating to support HT survivors and wellness for providers. Our Keynote Speaker is Caitlyn Scaggs, author of the book “Worth it and Wonderful” and the Head of Justice Enterprise & Development at New Hope Girls, an organization that works with young women and girls who are victims of human trafficking in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Denise Chase, therapist, will be joining us again this year, along with opportunities for some wellness and a viewing of “BOYS” a documentary about minor male sex trafficking victims. We will close out our day with a panel including Caitlyn, Denise, and other local experts.

The cost of this year’s conference is $25, which includes light breakfast fare, snacks, coffee, lunch, and a swag bag.

This Event Has Been Canceled

Join us at The Joseph Center and help us make FREEDOM BRACELETS for Operation For Freedom. Open to ages 14 and up. (Those 16 and under need to be accompanied by a parent.)

Operation For Freedom is a nonprofit organization who helps victims of human trafficking become survivors. These bracelets are amazing gifts for each victim that receives them. You get to be a part of that by helping us make bracelets.

We supply the equipment just bring a drink and light snack to share and come willing to spend some time making some cute bracelets for victims of human trafficking.
